"My Chinese Story" China-Africa Photo and Video Competition unveils award-winning entries

<article><section data-type="rtext"><p>The award-winning entries for the "My Chinese Story" China-Africa Photo and Video Competition have been officially announced.  </p><p>The competition was sponsored by the Secretariat of the Chinese Follow-up Committee of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) and the China Public Diplomacy Association, with Global Times Online serving as the organizer.  </p><p>The competition has drawn worldwide attention and participation since its launch in February this year, including these who are witnessing, participating, documenting and promoting all-dimensional, multifaceted and high-quality development of China-Africa relationship. It received over 2,600 submissions from more than 800 creators across 58 countries and regions worldwide.</p><p>These works portrayed the profound and enduring friendship between China and Africa, and demonstrated, in unique views, the Chinese and African cultures prospering together and coexisting in harmony. They also told stories of China-Africa cooperation featuring sincerity, real results, amity, and good faith. These works have made a strong call for harmony, common development, shared prosperity as the two sides are striving to build a high-level China-Africa community with a shared future.</p><p>After a comprehensive selection process involving public voting and expert review, 100 works emerged victorious. Besides, awards were also given to outstanding organizing units, those who made special contributions to the competition, and outstanding participants.
