Submission Deadline of the 7th Belt and Road Initiative Short Video Competition Extended

In response to the enthusiastic participation of global short video creators and to allow more time for fine-tuning entries, the organizing committee of the event has decided to extend the submission deadline to 12:00 PM (Beijing Time) on July 27, 2025. Accordingly, the online voting, expert review, and award ceremony will also be rescheduled.</p><p>The event was sponsored by the China Public Diplomacy Association and Global Times Online, with support from the News Center of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council.</p><p>Themed "Together, for a Brighter Future", the event comprises a global competition zone and several overseas regional competition zones, and will be joined by Belt and Road constructors and people worldwide.</p><p>The competition aims to showcase how the vision of the Belt and Road Initiative is becoming a reality and bearing rich fruit, highlighting the positive changes and tangible outcomes achieved through international collaboration.</p><p>A total of 13 major awards will be presented, including the Overseas Competition Award, Excellent Work Award and Outstanding Organizer Award, etc. The award ceremony will be held in October 2025.</p><p>We look forward to seeing more creators capture the beauty of the Silk Road through their lens and share the power of culture with their stories. Join us for this extraordinary cross-cultural experience.</p><p><em data-scene="strong">How to participate</em><em data-scene="strong">：</em></p><p>Participants are requested to put the video work and the application form in the same folder and send them to the registration email address: video@huanqiu.com.
